Monthly Meeting - Wednesday, June 15, 2005

Frumi Rachel Barr, President of the National Board for the Professional Coaching and Mentors Association
Catalyst For Change: Flexing and Growing With Clients

The Wyndham Hotel Orange County
3350 Avenue of the Arts, Costa Mesa, CA 92626

5:30 PM Registration - 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Dinner and Presentation

In keeping with our vision of “Experiencing Real-time Coaching” featuring interactive programs and authentic sharing of best practices, coaching tools and our journey and calling to be coaches, join us for this month’s program that addresses how we work as catalysts for change and grow with our clients.

“When you stop changing, you’re finished” - so said Benjamin Franklin a long time ago. While the pace of change has accelerated in the last several decades, it is nothing new. What motivates and inspires us to create our own changes?

Flexibility is one of the components of Emotional Intelligence that gives us the ability to adjust our emotions, thoughts and behavior to changing situations and conditions. Following a self-interview, Frumi will share a case study of a coaching assignment and then facilitate an interactive experience and conversation. Come and find out just how flexible you are!

PRESENTER:

Frumi Rachel Barr is a catalyst for change, an experienced business advisor, mentor and coach. She works with senior leaders and their teams to facilitate their ability to leverage their strengths, address critical developmental challenges and achieve results in their business and organizational objectives.

Frumi has had a distinguished career history as an entrepreneur and financial executive. Her experience and expertise as both a CEO and a CFO provides responsive and collaborative support to executives in a wide array of companies and industries, including manufacturing, service industries and direct marketing. It is this unique blend of practical, theoretical and communications/strategic skills that makes the work Frumi does unique among business advisors and coaches.

Frumi currently serves as the President of the National Board for the Professional Coaching and Mentors Association (PCMA). Frumi serves on the Advisory Board of the Executive Coaching Program at Chapman University and teaches a leadership course for that program.

After 25 years in the business world, Frumi earned a Masters in Business Administration from California State University at Fullerton. Her first-hand business acumen and formal business studies are complemented by her training as a business coach, through the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara.

Frumi has successfully managed to raise four children while founding and managing five businesses. She has proven that she can walk her talk and lead a balanced and fulfilling life while managing the needs of growing businesses and family.
